3RD GULF GAMES POSTPONED TO TAKE PLACE IN MAY 2022 – KUWAIT

Secretary-General of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain attended the 92nd meeting of the Executive Board of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Olympic Committees held in Manama, Bahrain.

The officials discussed several important matters during the meeting, which also decided the postponement of the third Gulf Games due to the spread of Omicron, a mutated version of COVID-19.

The Games to be held in Kuwait were originally scheduled to be held from January 9 to 19.

The multi-sport event will now take place from May 11-21.2022
